Transportation/Parking
The OSU Campus
is a busy place, but easily reached by both private vehicle
and public transportation. Throughout the year construction
projects and special events can affect traffic approaching
the University and parking conditions on
campus.
Please take note of these events, allow additional travel
time, and make alternate provisions as required.
Students may be delivered and retrieved immediately in
front of Hughes Hall, however unattended vehicles risk
being ticketed and towed. Students, and their families, may
park in outlying areas and ride the CABS (Campus Area Bus
Service) to the central campus without charge. COTA routes
(Central Ohio Transit Authority) are available less than a
block away.
There are two OSU parking garages close to Hughes and
Weigel Halls where parking is available for a fee.
If disability parking is required, ask for
additional information.
”ParkValCards“
The
OSU Division of Transportation and
Parking has provided
an extremely generous arrangement so that
Jefferson @ OSU students, not
otherwise affiliated with the University, may purchase 12
“ParkValCds” for $15. They are available only in the
Jefferson office.
